Maddox's First Month

Maddox has turned one month!

So many daily changes and lots of memories already. He has been really enjoying his eating sessions and filling out his big boy baby figure. He is eating 5 to 7oz each setting (every three hours) and truly enjoys those times and will let us know if we go too much over his scheduled times. We are getting more used to his sleeping habits and just getting used to being sleep deprived enjoying all of the late night feedings. You will really have to get the truth from Brett on that statement. He is pretty consistent through the night up every 3 to 4 hours. He sleeps quite a bit throughout the day giving me a little time to do some things around the house , never knowing how fast I can move to get so many things done in such little time when Maddox is napping.

Latest Advancements

Within the last week- Maddox has been following Brett and my voice around with his eyes really recognizing us. We have caught several slight smiles, and doing a lot of stretching and kicking with his legs and throwing of his arms. We still do not know who he truly looks like and have been trying to figure that out since birth, still sporting his blonde hair and blue eyes. A lot of people have their own thoughts but we still don't see any of them. I guess he just looks like Maddox.

We have been blessed with all the family in town and already had several babysitters. Maddox did well for all, at least that is what everyone is telling us. He leaves his spells for mom and dad.

We also want to thank everyone for all of the great baby gifts and I will say he will have a different outfit for the next several months. His closet is full!
